Summary:
The Microsoft Power BI Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Power BI solutions for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization concepts. They will also have experience with Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft data analytics tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable and secure Power BI solutions that meet the organization's business needs.Create and maintain data models that are optimized for performance and usability.Develop and implement Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with data analysts and business users to gather requirements and define solutions.Train and support users on Power BI tools and techniques.Stay up-to-date on the latest Power BI features and functionality.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization concepts.3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions.Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.Experience with other Microsoft data analytics tools, such as SQL Server, Azure Data Lake Analytics, and Azure Synapse Analytics.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Data Analytics.Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Data Analytics.Experience with Tableau and/or QlikSense reporting environments.Experience with data governance and data quality practices.Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
