The primary function of this Software QA Engineer will be to maintain and help guide overall quality standards for all company software based products through the use of systematic processes.
Responsibilities
Design test plans and test processes for typically Internet-based web applications, sites and platformsAnalyze design and determine test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution (Cypress/ Playwright)Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identify, debug, and create solutions for issues with code and integration into software and firmware architectureUse industry standard testing tools but also be able to develop tools, environments and scripts to automate test executionRepresent the software quality assurance team for all phases of larger and more complex development projectsProactive in documenting issues and finding solution with development peersMaintain documentation of testing to assist in debugging software.Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.Ensure 508 accessibility requirements are metJob Requirements
Education and Experience
Minimum 2-5 year's experienceKnowledge and Skills
Using software quality assurance tools and processesExperience within a larger scrum team and agile processesSoftware testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and toolsExperience with web application and website design, including CMS functionalityExpertise in Jira case management and bug writingExpertise in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright other industry standard testing toolsExperience with Sitecore, Kentico or other .NET enterprise technology a plus
