The position will include programming and troubleshooting PLC software and install Controls Solutions. This position is also required to establish communication between the Elutions Maestro Solution and external systems. The communication protocols mostly used for this are Modbus, OPC and BACNet.
The SCIE will contribute to our global integration processes and methodology improvements. You will be expected to respond professionally to customer queries. This role is responsible for regular reporting, team meeting attendance, solution development and implementation.
Entry level candidates and recent graduates with a strong academic background covering basic qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of industrial IT systemsPLC programming exposureKnowledge of PythonKnowledge of Microsoft SQL ServerAwareness of HVAC / BMS operationKnowledge of TCP/IP NetworkingExposure to Ladder Diagram, Function block diagram, Structured TextProtocols knowledge of Modbus, OPC and BACNetWillingness to travel up to 40%, domestic and international to work on client sitesAbility to self-manage, multi-task and keep track of simultaneous on-going projects, including some customer interfaceProficient with the MS Office suiteEffective interpersonal skills, organization/prioritization and administrative skillsMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have excellent troubleshooting skillsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical (Controls) Engineering or related discipline2+ years relevant experienceExperience of Site-wise BMS/Control System DeploymentFamiliarization with HVAC equipment and Building Management Systems.Ability to discuss and pre-analyze hardware/software issues.Working knowledge of Diagnostic tools; the ability to read schematics and use tools to detect hardware/software problemsResponsibilities
