Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add a Desktop Support Manager in Skillman, NJ, to a team of eight we just exclusively built for them. This lead position is also a Merge IT exclusive. Please see below for full details--

Job Notes:• 6+ month contract with good chances of extensions and converting perm with good performance.• Start Date = ASAP• Drug & Background required.• Vaccination Required.

Role Description:• Desktop Support Manager manages a team that provides personal computer deployment and support including setup, installation, repairs, upgrades, migrations and troubleshooting.• Maintains the necessary hardware and software inventory and oversees the administration of required licenses.• Being a Desktop support Manager analyses PC resources requirements and evaluates available vendors, products, and services that will meet the organization's needs.• Implements training programs and develops documentation to support end-users.• dditionally, The Desktop Manager possesses experience in LAN environment, a strong understanding of PC Operation systems, security tools and extensive knowledge of all commonly uses PS software products.• The Desktop Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of the jobs.• Ensures the project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.• Manager typically has 5 years of experience in the related area with 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
