Job Description
Pangiam is seeking a Senior full stack software developer to lead the development of our commercial cloud-based web application. The responsibilities include managing an agile team to deliver new capabilities while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to our commercial clients
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, develop, test, and deploy new and existing software and web applications.Build prototypes, proof of concepts and support R&D efforts.Provide the technical expertise in troubleshoot, and resolve backend issuesIsolate performance issue and analyze bottlenecksDesign robust APIs to support external systems, web and mobile applicationsDefine external interfaces and manage the interchange of data between the server and the users.Maintain and enhance API documentation of backend web servicesManage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloudDevelop and maintain full unit test coverage for critical components.Implementation of security and data protectionWork closely with the product manager, business analyst, and chief architect to develop the technical design and solutions.Coordinate with other team members to provide the deliverable end-productDesign and implement high availability services with disaster recovery planSupport all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including releases and deployment.Stay up to date with current best practicesCoach and mentor other peer team membersSupport customers and integrators meetingsQualifications
Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web services designExperience writing highly secure serverless cloud-based applications that leverage Infrastructure as Code approach using AWS core technologies: Lambda, DynamoDB, APIGateway, Cognito, CloudWatch, etc...Professional experience in designing RESTful APIs, business logic using various programming languages: JavaScript, Java, PythonBasic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Quick problem-solving skills with exceptional aptitude and reasoningFamiliar with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentProven work experience of 5-9 years in a similar or related fieldProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Additional Information
Education:A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with applicable experience is required. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
