We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our fast-expanding development team. This is a newly created role that offers the chance to work with the latest technologies and tools. The ideal candidate will possess a T-shaped skill set and use their expertise and enthusiasm to apply the most effective testing methodologies in collaboration with the team. Requirements Responsibilities · Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools and frameworks. · Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases to ensure the quality of our software products. · Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage. · Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing, including identifying and reporting defects. · Work closely with the development team to ensure that testing is integrated into the software development process. · Continuously improve the automation test suite to increase test coverage, reliability, and efficiency · Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on testing best practices. · Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in test automation technology and methodologies. Qualifications · ISTQB Testing related qualifications. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field · 3+ years of experience in test automation and software testing · Experience testing within a micro-service architecture. · Proficiency in implementing test automation frameworks and writing tests for both UI and API · High-level coding competence, preferably with exposure to languages such as C#, .Net Core, TypeScript, Node.js, and Golang · Expertise in integrating reliable test automation into CI/CD pipelines. · Familiarity with all levels of the testing pyramid and understanding of testing quadrants. · Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams, ideally in an Agile environment. · Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium WebDriver · Practical API experience using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, and WireMock · Proven ability to promote a quality mindset within a fast-paced organisation · Bonus if you have experience with contract testing using Pact/Pact.net.
