A leading P&C insurance provider needs a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to establish and maintain standards for systems analysis, requirements gathering, and vendor management, analyze new business system development, and improve existing business processes.
This is a hybrid opportunity; qualified applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Boston and be willing and able to work onsite 4 days per week.Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst:
Perform workflow analysis, create workflow diagrams, and suggest improvements to processesEstablish and maintain methods and standards for broad range of operational and enterprise applicationsUnderstand current state and desired future state of various systemsPerform and prepare impact analysis documentationBe involved in all aspects of the project lifecycleRequirements of the Senior Business Analyst:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience15+ years of software development experience including BA experience IT-driven projects10+ years of BA experience in property and casualty insurance domainsDetailed understanding of policy admin, eCommerce, billing, claims, and financial applicationsUnderstanding of various third-party integrations like LexisNexis Prefill, CREDIT, MRV, CLUE, etc. is a mustExperience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc. requiredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project with a strong emphasis on Visio
