Network Security ArchitectLocation: Spring, TX. Hybrid.Contract role.
Design and Implement Network Security Solutions using Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto technologies.Conduct Risk Assessment and Mitigation activities to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewall systems from Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto.Deploy and maintain Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) to detect and block malicious activities.Develop and maintain Security Incident Response procedures to promptly address security breaches.Establish and enforce Security Policy Development to ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor network traffic and security events to identify suspicious activities and anomalies.Conduct Security Awareness Training sessions for staff members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Requirements:
Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto technologies.CCIE Certification.Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF).Additional security certifications preferred (CISSP, CEH, CISM).Proficiency in risk assessment and penetration testing.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
