The

Systems Technician

is the first response to any and all company related IT support needs that encompass a wide range of IT hardware and software solutions. Our Tier 1 Helpdesk staff captures general information regarding the concern, need or issue and either resolves the concern or advises and escalates the ticket as deemed necessary.

Compensation: $45,000-$50,000. In-office position.

Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:

Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipmentAbility to work with ticketing systems to document all support callsFamiliar with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office SuitesFlexibility with schedule as this position does require shift workAssociates degree with an emphasis of computer information systemsPreferred certifications; A+, Net+ and/or MCDSTPosition Responsibilities:

Perform ticket based solutions for an in-house service deskRespond to requests for technical assistance via telephone or remote connectivity softwareDiagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issuesAdvise user on appropriate action - escalates to appropriate resourcesLogs all helpdesk activities through our ticketing systemIT Technician Requirements:

Associate degree in computer science or 1-year related field.A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is advantageous.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good interpersonal skills.Attention to detail.Good problem-solving skills.
