We are seeeking a proficient Front -End Developer with a passion for creating innovative web applications leveraging React. This long-term, hybrid role in New York City offers the opportunity to blend technical prowess with the dynamic needs of investment banking.Qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years in web development, with a substantial portion (4-5 years) focused on digital platforms.- Expertise in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of DOM, JavaScript object model, Object-Oriented programming, design patterns, coding standards, and optimization.- Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related web technologies.- Proficiency with front-end libraries such as React, demonstrating the ability to build complex, efficient, and maintainable user interfaces.- Ability to convert business needs into technical specifications, identifying problems and formulating technical recommendations.- Collaborate within a product team context to provide technical insights.- Work alongside backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend components with server-side APIs.- Extensive coding experience for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.- In-depth understanding of web layouts, usability, W3C guidelines, and web security principles.- Commitment to crafting user interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.- Experience with version control, preferably Azure DevOps.- Demonstrated experience in Agile methodology, from application design to software development and testing.- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with proficient written and verbal communication abilities.- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and similar web integration tools.- Must have prior experience in financial services, particularly investment banking.- A degree, certification, or equivalent experience in Web Development, Digital Programming, or Computer Science.

Responsibilities:- Engage as a key engineer within an agile team, partnering with a product owner, designers, and QA to craft and refine digital banking websites.- Take charge of the complete development lifecycle - from design through development, unit testing, and implementation.- Work closely with the QA team to guarantee thorough testing and maintenance of web platforms.- Liaise with product teams, designers, and internal stakeholders to deliver a performant, user-centric website.Posted:
