Job responsibilities
Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologiesDevelops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and prioritiesCreates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software designDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersServes as the function's go-to subject matter expertContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesCreates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functionsChampions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experienceProven experience in architecting solutions for cloud migrationsDemonstrated experience in crafting well-architected designs, application development, testing, resiliency and operational stability to utilize the capabilities of cloud computing for applicationsHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems across various technical disciplinesExtensive practical cloud native experience and tools, such as TerraformAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best technology solutions and approaches to achieve the future state architectureAbility to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and ExecutivesDeep knowledge of major public cloud platforms, ideally with AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent professional level or specialty certificationsDeep understanding of Container / Kubernetes based architecturesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Deep technical architecture experience with demonstrated increases in responsibilityAwareness and practical experience with implementing Resiliency and FinOps practices
