TRANSCOM IGC - Cloud Engineer

ITP is seeking Cloud Engineer to support the transition of a critical application into the government, commercial or hybrid cloud. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the cloud systems plans, strategy, design, development, deployment of the application into the cloud. The Cloud Engineer will implement the infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing, work with the cloud architect to design integration of the data platform and other computer-based systems. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end cloud deployment experience from concept development to go live in the cloud.Requirements10+ years of experienceBachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering or information technologyExperience supporting cloud architecture, design, development, implementation and maintenanceCloud Certifications: Solutions Architect (Professional), Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, DEVOPS Engineer, Big Data (AWS or similar certifications highly desired)Experience supporting distributed application and data warehouse architectureExperience leading cross functional technology teamExperience using Kanban to track work assignment and to communicate with project teamProgramming Language: Java, Python, PostgresSQL experienceDirect experience transitioning from DoD shared service environment, i.e. DISA DECCSecret ClearanceBenefitsSince 1993, ITP has been providing reliable, cost-effective solutions to meet our customers’ goals and objectives in the commercial and public marketplace.
