Networking BackgroundProven experience with network administration, troubleshooting, and supportKnowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologiesCertifications like CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or CCENT strongly preferredVideo Surveillance Software ExperienceHands-on experience with enterprise video management systems (VMS)Ability to install, configure, and support medium to large scale VMS deploymentsKnowledge of industry-leading VMS platforms and their key featuresExperience integrating VMS with other security systems is a plusAccess Control Software ProficiencyWorking knowledge of access control systems and softwareExperience administering and troubleshooting access control solutionsFamiliarity with integrating access control with video surveillance systemsAccess Control Hardware Experience (Preferred)Hands-on experience installing and maintaining access control hardware componentsKnowledge of readers, controllers, electronic locks, request-to-exit devices, etc.Ability to specify and deploy access control hardware based on site requirementsAdditional QualificationsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsStrong customer service and communication abilities to interface with end-usersAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAvailability to travel to client sites as needed to deploy and support systemsFamiliarity with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and ticketing systemsExperience with remote support tools and technologiesKnowledge of IT security principles and best practicesRequirementsOther Requirements
