Role Overview:

The person would be working with the Investment team for a major Insurance client. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Actuarial /Financial modeling and a strong understanding of the BFSI and Investment instruments.The person should be able to create/help build a mapping exercise for the investment data coming from various sources.Should have hands-on experience with SQL, should be able to create business logic.Advance level knowledge of MS Excel.Should be independently able to conduct data analysis on results produced by financial models.The person would be required to create automated upload templates that would be loaded to subledger/ledger.The person will be responsible for testing and implementing the new/updated regulatory requirements.The person should be able to quickly understand the business issues and data challenges and propose solutions.A suitable candidate should have 9+ years of experience and 7+ years in a similar role and should possess a go-getter attitude.Experience in Re-insurance preferred.Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:

Superior finance, analytical and problem-solving skills.Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready deliverable with minimal or no supervision.Excellent communication skill for client interaction

Financial Risk Management Skillsets:

Experience in Clearwater Accounting platform or similar investment accounting platform is a must haveBackground in Finance, Investment, Actuarial Science or pursuing actuarial exams.Good understanding of US (United States) market and the latest regulatory guidelines such Long Duration Targeted ImprovementsGood knowledge of SQL, advanced ExcelProfessional certification Actuarial exams or CFA and FRM working in Insurance industry.

Candidate Profile:

Experience in Clearwater Accounting platform or similar investment accounting platform is a must haveBachelors/master's degree in finance, Investments, actuarial science5-7+ years' experience in Life Insurance/ReinsuranceKnowledge of other investment-related software and tools (Bloomberg, Aladdin etc.) is preferred.Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.Strong and in-depth understanding of insurance industryStrong and in-depth understanding of investment instrumentsSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in a fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take on uphill challenges.
