As the oldest children’s charity in the Western US, this organization helps individuals and their loved ones who struggle with mental illness and behavioral health issues by providing treatment, prevention programs, and ... children, youth, families, foster care, education, behavioral health, mental health, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, after school programs and much more.Program Clinician - This is a full-time exempt position, approximately 9am-5pm (flexible) and can work hybrid some days. This position is located at our main campus in San Francisco.

Low turnover and programs that provide essential care in the communityCaseload of 15ResponsibilitiesProvides mental health services based on the needs of the Community Based Services Department, including group, family and individual treatmentProvides case management oversight of assigned cases including advocacy, collaboration, monitoring or progress and ongoing needs, referrals and discharge planning with other service providersConducts CANS mental health assessments for referred childrenProvides collateral treatment with familiesProvides consultation to classroom teachers regarding classroom mental health issuesParticipates in IEP and/or SST for assigned children or other education-mental health team meetingsWorks collaboratively with school site staff (principal, resource specialist, teacher and site program consultant)Maintains appropriate documentation in compliance with San Francisco Mental Health Standards including use of Avatar for all CANS requirements (assessments and treatment plans)Participates in regularly scheduled supervisory team meetingsRequirementsMaster's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field; clinical license, and registered in the State of California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences - AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW1-2 years of experience providing mental health services in an educational setting either as a direct service provider or consultantInterest/experience in school/mental health collaboration
