Summary

The Business Development Senior Manager is responsible for directing & overseeing all sales & marketing operations for MQ FF division, namely repositioning 3PL development. Duties include building business relationships in order to meet department sales and operation goals, drafting sales reports, meeting annual targets, understanding customer trends & directing MQ FF operations to adapt to industry trends, and representing the company at industry events.

Compensation Range

$110,000 - $130,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

ResponsibilitiesPrimary (Business Development)

Prospect major clients, cultivate & develop relationship for repositioning account to meet company goalSustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring their specific needs, and anticipating new opportunitiesNetwork with Maquiladora companies to increase repositioning opportunity & increase profit opportunityInvestigate and penetrate customers by exploring their specific needs, and anticipating new opportunitiesSeek to establish referral networks to maximize value from those connectionsLocate opportunities for new customers that could leverage our current operating footprint between US and MexicoCultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyaltyWork with customers to better understand their business needs and goalsOperations troubleshooting: Identify needs & root cause of issues and provide support / propose solutions as neededManage Sales/Customer delivery planning and forecastingDevelop and oversee process improvement initiatives in order to improve efficiency.Improve customer service & improve profitability of MQ operations, including cost reduction initiatives

Secondary (Sales & Marketing Plans and Strategies)

Implement marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results, to determine annual unit and gross-profit plansEstablish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected volumes and profitAssess costs, competition, and supply and demand to establish pricing strategiesDevelop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives, and keep C-level executives apprised of progressDevelop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base

Tertiary (Distribute Knowledge Within Organization & Other Activities)

Prepare detailed and accurate sales reportsPresents information regarding clients and sales at company meetingsEffectively communicate through proposals and presentationsRepresent the company at industry events/functions

Sales Management work experience in logistics RequiredExcellent Written and Oral Communication Skills RequiredExperience training & mentoring new employees RequiredExcellent organizational and time-management skills RequiredProficient In PC Skills (MS Office-Excel, Work, Power Point, Outlook, Database Management Systems) RequiredExperience in creating - RFP's, Sales Orders, Freight Quotes in all modes of transport RequiredPresentations for - Corporations, Executives, Trade Shows and PEF's RequiredExperience in IMC Sales & OTR Sales RequiredEducation and Experience

Bachelors Degree RequiredEight (8) - Twelve (12) Years of Direct Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Management, OEM Sales, FTL, TLT - FAK RequiredSeven (7) Years or more of Direct Experience in a Supervisory or Management Role RequiredTen (10) - Fifteen (15) years of direct experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Management, OEM Sales PreferredPhysical Requirements
