Title: Cloud SQA EngineerLocation: Milpitas, CAContract
Job Description
Set up cloud test environment for manual, performance, and soak test development and execution.Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, system, regression, and performance testing; based on business requirements, use-cases, and engineering functional specs.Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage of complex features.Execute test plans using both manual and/or automation means and generate test reports.Document and report issues and bugs on JIRA and verify bug fixes and new features.Assist in investigating/debugging/troubleshooting software/hardware issues employing tools available, e.g., Wire Shark, IXIA,Actively participate in meetings. providing feedback for quality improvement at each test cycleAssist in Creation, deployment, and maintenance of system Testbeds to replicate different topologies possible with the focus on customer deployment.Required / Desired
Cloud services experience with at least 1 of the following: Azure, AWS , GCPVirtualization, Micro Services, SOA Architecture, Web Services, and RESTAPIs Cloud computing platforms, tools, and technologies, tools and technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Cloudwatch, Cli Understanding of QA/Test process including designing test strategies and test plansAgile environment experience or ability.CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment)NW Monitoring Tools experience preferred, such as, IXIA, Spirent, Wire Shark, others (MUST)Ability to work in agile environment.Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (C I/CD)Experience/Proficiency in Test Automation (Python and Selenium WebDriver especially) is a PLUSNetworking L2/L3, and/or Network performance monitoring and/or Network Packet Brokering a plus5-6+ Years in QABSCS or BSEE Degree or Equivalent experienceVery Good Communication skills - verbal, written, technical.
