Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Handle, transport, and store various materials within Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM)s Distribution Center. Load and unload trucks and containers, record inventory using ERP system and ensure all material movements properly match documentation.

Material HandlingReceive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated, secure locationsPull and prepare raw materials for assembly associates to packageRestock shelvesFollow FIFO to rotate stock to ensure the proper materials are used firstComplete appropriate transactions within SAP SystemPrepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent informationProcess appropriate paperwork throughout the lifecycle of the product accurately and timely30%

Receive and unload incoming shipmentsVerify quantity and quality of order contents to the packing slips30%
Shipping
Process paperwork for freight companiesAccurately document materials shipped to sub-contractorsPack pallet orders using the guidelines in the cGMP for height of product, etc.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or General Education Diploma (GED) or experience enough to perform the essential functions of the job
Two years or more previous factory, assembly, shipping/receiving, or other applicable experience
Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies
Makes sound decisions based on analysis, discussion, experience and judgment
Demonstrated team player
Willingness to roll up your sleeves to help find new opportunities and having passion to WIN
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic use of Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook and Excel, and related industry applications
Safe operation of a pallet jack
Documentable forklift certification or demonstrable proficient experience operating a forklift.
Safe operation of various machinery
Valid drivers license
Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the organizations systems and data as well as client data.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; the ability to stand or sit, walk, bend or stoop, push, pull and manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of up to 20 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read.
