High school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionPrevious experience as a forklift operatorExperience using RFT scanners requiredAbility to work in a manufacturing environment that requires 10-12 hour shifts while standing most of the timeAbility to lift up to 35 pounds when performing job tasksAbility to work weekends and overtime as neededWhat You'll Do as a Forklift Operator
Operate sit-down forklift receiving products from carrierDistribute and issue products throughout production areasManage warehouse inventoryUnload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage areasPerform inspections on equipment prior to and following operational useOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)Clean and maintain work station and follow all safety and company policiesKeep track of parts and materials and refill bins needed to perform dutiesOperate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks and cherry pickersPerform other duties as assigned
