As our founding Strategic account executive focused on selling Writer's enterprise generative AI solutions to major healthcare and health insurance companies, your role will be pivotal in driving business transformation for the top 20 health insurance payers. You will be responsible for understanding and developing solutions specific to the health insurance sector (including with affiliated healthcare provider organizations), leveraging generative AI to address their unique challenges and opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving generative AI space, with a specific focus on applications and use cases relevant to the health insurance industryBecome an expert in the wide range of use cases where generative AI can drive business transformation for health insurance companies, and help customers contextualize the benefits of our full-stack approach within their industryIdentify and qualify inbound leads from major health insurance companies, guiding them through the evaluation process and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific needsProactively generate a robust pipeline of potential customers from Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) accounts through value-driven outbound strategies, targeting key decision-makers within health insurance organizationsConduct engaging product demonstrations to stakeholders, helping prospects articulate and quantify the business case for investment in generative AI solutions for the health insurance sectorGuide prospects through proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot projects, establishing clear success criteria and involving key stakeholders early on to reach a consensus for purchaseLead champions within customer organizations through internal budgeting, legal, security, and procurement processes, recognizing the evangelical nature of the sale where the solution may not have an existing line itemCollaborate with colleagues to share successful strategies, identify areas for improvement, and refine Writer's approach to serving strategic customers in the health insurance sectorQualifications:8+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS closing role, with a focus on large national Managed Care Organizations (UHG, CVS/Aetna, Elevance, Cigna, etc); additional experience selling to CIO or AI/innovation leaders is a plusThrive in a scrappy, fast-paced environment - ours is not a mature product category, it will require creativity and active listening to figure out how Writer’s solutions can be most transformativeA deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, policy and competitive dynamics affecting the healthcare industry, including Value-Based Care, CMS regulations, and post-Covid changes to the healthcare systemDemonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotasExperience assisting prospects in building a compelling business case to secure executive sponsorship within the health insurance industryFamiliarity with value-based selling, while also possessing an in-depth understanding of the product and its applications in the health insurance sectorExperience collaborating with legal, security, and procurement teams to successfully close deals in the health insurance industryStrong written and verbal communication skillsWell-defined sales process and ability to make sales repeatable for yourselfIf you are passionate about leveraging generative AI to drive innovation in the health insurance sector and possess the necessary skills and experience, we invite you to join our team.
