We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's applications by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and providing recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities:
Focus on Security Design Review processPartner with Application teamsExperience in threat modelingWorked with APIPenetration testingConduct security assessments of applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknessesDevelop and implement security solutions to protect applications from cyber threatsCollaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycleProvide guidance and recommendations on security policies and proceduresStay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologiesConduct security training and awareness programs for employeesRespond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis when necessaryJob Requirements
Details:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience working in application security or related fieldStrong understanding of web application security principles and best practicesExperience with security assessment tools and techniquesKnowledge of common security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP are a plusIf you are passionate about application security and have a strong background in securing applications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
