Job DescriptionJava Developer, Clearance Required - TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Please note, this position requires all candidates to currently possess an active Top-Secret SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. This position is not an opportunity to be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance.
The Work:
This contract supports compliance solutions and integration, as well as development and sustainment of analytic services and hosting platforms to sustain analytics, threads, and services to enable the agency and tactical customers' missions and goals throughout the extended enterprise.
Minimum Qualifications:A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience
or
Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience
or
high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.Strong Java skills, developing software in Red Hat Linux (versions 3 - 5+)Experience with Java Pig, MapReduceExperience with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, etc.Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (No SQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Tables, etc.Experience with Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS)Bonus Points:
Knowledge of IP Protocols and Network topologiesExperience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic developmentExperience with Jira, Maven, and GitAs a Java Developer, You Will:
Use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT.Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.Developing answers to questions via Java MapReduce, making them available via the corporate tool suites.Opportunities to research and work with multiple platforms for developments.Working in a cohesive, small team environment.Work Site:
Greater Ft. Meade, MD area.
