Consulting at CapTech:Create, evaluate and manage technical solutions to ensure client successPartner with clients on team-based projects to deliver solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle leveraging the Agile Methodology as well as modern technology languages, frameworks, and patternsThrive in a collaborative environment with many opportunities to learn from and share knowledge with other developers, architects, and our clients.Design, implement, integrate and support on-prem, cloud, and hybrid developmentCreate roadmap and high-level design documentation, epics and storiesIdentify and communicate architectural / solution tradeoffs, for client specific solutionsDisplay a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our clientsCollaborate with cross-functional teammates to support business development by demonstrating CapTech's technical capabilitiesTechnical Solutions:Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions tailored to meet client-specific needs.Create technical project estimates and work plansDevelop code hands-on in addition to architecture solutionSolutions include API-driven clients, microservice architectures, event-driven integrations, cloud deployments, serverless applications, and web and portal front endsLearning and Professional Development Opportunities:Create an individualized professional development planGain experience with a variety of different clients and industry verticalsInfluence and guideprofessional development efforts for those at all levels, including teaching, coaching, and collaboration through project work and innovation challengesShare knowledge and common experiences with fellow CapTechers through Technical Communities of Practice and Lunch and LearnsDiversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at CapTech:Ability to participate with CapTech Employee Resource GroupsCelebrate CapTech's core value of Belonging at optional (in-person!) social engagementsFlexible Work Options:Utilize CapFlex to make your workday work for youNo mandatory travel expectationsQualifications

Enterprise-level experience with modern Java, its core libraries, and open-source frameworksHands-on experience with software development, enterprise architecture, and directing technical teamsFamiliarity with microservice architectures, monitoring tools, databases, and containerizationAbility to think strategically and relate architectural recommendations to business needs and client culture.Extensive knowledge and application of Design PatternsAbility to communicate technical solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience assessing the performance of software systems and implementing tools used to optimize performancePreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of cloud architecture using AWS, Azure, or GCPDemonstrated experience with DevOps practicesExperience with Databricks analytics platformHands-On experience with GoAdditional Information
