Provide senior-level consulting on complex and highly critical database issues. Develop data architectures and database management policies and standards for use within the organization. Participate in database strategic planning and consulting on selection, design, development and integration of multi-platform, distributed databases. Monitor industry trends, vendor experiences, and stay abreast of technological advances.
Proven demonstration in successfully implement strategies for database architecture and consulted on migrating, integrating and selecting platforms for a variety of wide-impact applications. Requires expertise in the major functions of relational database platforms and the design, development and maintenance of relational databases that manage object data including multiple Object-Relational Database Management System technologies, platforms and products. Requires significant experience with designing and integrating complex, heterogeneous databases. Must be knowledgeable in performance considerations for complex, distributed environments and aware of industry benchmarks for multiple technology environments. Minimum 10-15 years relevant work experience required.
