SharePoint Developer

to support one of our top Finance clients.

The

SharePoint Developer

will be responsible for supporting the core infrastructure used by our clients, partners, and internal user communities. The SharePoint Developer will report to the Manager of Infrastructure and will work closely with other members of the technology department to support all corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.Testing and debugging code.Reviewing website interface and software stability.Troubleshooting software issues.Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.Providing systems training to staff and customers.Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.Maintain Windows Server services such as: DNS, DHCP, ADDS, RODC, HTTP, SSL, S/FTP, VPN, SMTPConcentrates on system administration and monitoring of infrastructure, including system patching and hardening.Responsible to troubleshoot system functional and operational issuesProviding systems training to staff and customers.Skills and Abilities

Provides technical support for production infrastructure solutions and tools to help Tier 1 and 2 support teamsDeploy and support the production infrastructureResponsible for designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint enterprise applications and supporting .NET applicationsExtends and augments the SharePoint platform using Microsoft ASP.NET development, JavaScript, and jQueryParticipates in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, peer reviews, unit and integration testingUses SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) to create interactive, tabular, graphical, or free-form reports from relational, multidimensional, or XML- based data sourcesWork as part of a team, independently, with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlinesProvide second-level support to end users, ensuring that their issues are clearly understood before proposing or implementing solutionsPerform Enterprise level operations and sustainment activitiesPerform technical planning, systems integration and verification and validationAbility to work independently, triage issues, and prioritize tasksQualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.MOSS or WSS certification.Previous experience as a SharePoint developer.Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.High-level coding skills.Ability to solve complex software issues work and capable of working on both projects with well-defined requirements and those with fluid requirementsAbility to project manage.Detail orientated.Self-motivated.
