Position Highlights:Position: Mental Health Associate ILocation: :LOH NapervillePer DiemHours: As neededThe Behavioral Health Associate provides direct patient care to patients with behavioral health disorders. Participates in treatment planning and implementation. Facilitates groups within assigned treatment programs. Documents according to department/organization procedures. Ensures the safety and well-being of these patients by maintaining a safe milieu.
What you will need:A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, no previous experience
or
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a non-Behavioral Health related field, a minimum of one year of behavioral health experienceMaintain information as highly confidentialAbility to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervisionExperience Preferred:
Familiarity with medical and psychological terminologySkills in teaching or assisting with activities of daily livingPrior experience with therapeutic limit-setting and milieu managementLicensure and/or Certification Required:
A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
