Human Resources Generalist

Management and Engineering Technologies International, Inc., is a federal contractor focusing on the fields of engineering, IT, and natural resources management. We have a need for an HR Generalist who will focus on recruiting support and employee data management for METI.Duties:Provides employee information by answering communications; referring special communications to the appropriate person.Provides recruiting support for the companyCreate or revise job descriptions as neededUpload job postings to specified sites, social mediaReview resumes, process background checks, conduct assessment and initial interviews, and notify rejected applicantsCIRCA website maintenance and candidate dispositionMaintains human resources records by maintaining applications, resumes, and applicant logs.Candidate advocacy - work with candidates from initial review to submission to hiring managerWork with Corporate HR staff on open positions, daily review white space and urgent posting needsVerifies candidates' background by contacting references.Distributes new employee hiring forms; verifying completion.Helps employees by explaining benefit programs.Employee file creation and managementData entry and document maintenanceAvoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.Maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technicalpublications.Create and or maintain candidate databases as needed for future needsOther duties assigned in support of the overall operation

Qualifications:3 years of related Recruiting/Human Resource experienceMinimum education: Associates degree in related HR fieldPositive attitude; enjoy working closely with othersGreat research skills: ability to use and research multiple databasesReporting and administrative writing skills
