Receiving material from vendors and shipping product to customers.**Main Responsibilities:*** Receive, sort, and verify materials count for all deliveries received at the factory* Put away materials into warehouse racking and making accurate record of the location* Locate materials to pick order for production jobs being started in assembly* Prepare materials for shipping by pulling, packing, crating, and loading* Perform all duties safely and according to procedure* Ensure that all materials are accurately accounted through any movement within the site* Perform cycle counts* Operate powered pallet jacks and potentially forklifts* Ship product via UPS, FedEx, DHL and various LTL carriers, both domestically and internationally* Keeping proper records in daily shipping files* Provide communication to forwarders as well as internal and external customers.**Required Experience:*** High School diploma minimum* 1-2 years warehousing or material handling experience* Knowledge of inventory control is a benefit; cycle counting, Kanban, order picking etc* Forklift lift certified is a benefit* Good communication skills and work ethic* Knowledge of SAP is a benefit* Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50lbs* Knowledge of shipping and receiving activities utilizing carrier software* Knowledge of Oracle / Ship Connect a plus**Job Scope:**- Warehouse facility- Required PPE: Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses- Warehouse dress code: Long pants/jeans, no holes, or rips- Ability to work in face paced environment, and take detailed direction and execute with minimal supervision- Ability to communicate clearly within the department and interactions with other department employeesEdwards is a global leader of vacuum and abatement.
