Be part of our movement, lets pursue excellence together.**Summary:**This position is responsible for the duties and operation in the areas of warehouse and inventory control management, receipt of goods from suppliers, shipment of supplies, samples and commercial product.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities** **:***The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.*+ Receives incoming materials purchased on Purchase orders. Confirms material received matches the P.O and processes the receipt transactions.+ Prepares and maintains documentation for receiving, inventory, and shipping transactions performed on ERP system.+ Initiates documentation per SOP for receipt of cGMP materials and performs receiving inspection for some components and moves materials to Quarantine.+ Coordinates material movement, sampling and labeling of raw materials and components with Quality Assurance.+ Interacts with Purchasing and Accounting personnel to resolve receipt and/or invoice discrepancies; coordinates and completes returns to vendor transactions.+ Issues and transports raw materials and components for batch manufacturing.+ Perform the physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, and storing of raw materials, finished products, in process materials and other supplies and equipment.+ Coordinates material and product transfers directly with Manufacturing personnel.+ Performs various inventory transactions in the ERP system. Responsible for complete and accurate inventory transaction documentation and files.+ Maintains required segregation, security, labeling and storage conditions for all inventory materials.+ Performs routine cycle counts, evaluates variance reports, investigates discrepancies, and recommends corrective actions.+ Transports formulated bulk product, batch samples and completed batches from Manufacturing to Quarantine.+ Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and working environment.+ Operates material handling equipment in the movement and storage of materials.+ Generates bills of lading, commercial invoices, and declarations of hazardous materials.+ Prepares temperature sensitive filled product for shipment to commercial partners as well as contract manufacturers per SOPs. Responsible for initiation and filing of shipping documentation. Tracks shipments to assure receipt at destinations.+ Prepares equipment, instruments, for shipment to suppliers for repair or calibration.+ Responsible for insuring compliance to DOT and IATA requirements for shipment of hazardous materials.+ Performs duties per cGMP regulations and standard operating procedures.**Supervisory Responsibilities:**This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.**Interaction:**Primary reporting is to the Supervisor or Manager of Supply Operations. Interacts extensively with staff in most departments within the company. Coordinates the sampling and release of raw materials with QA. This person will have significant interaction regarding deliveries, scheduling with Manufacturing and interacts with freight carriers and on occasion, suppliers.**Education and Experience:**+ Experience in logistics and warehouse operation in a cGMP pharmaceutical or biotech operation a plus+ High School diploma or equivalent**Qualifications:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** **:**+ Familiar with a GMP operations and requirements.+ Good written, oral, and interpersonal English communication skills.+ Must be computer literate and proficient with ERP inventory transactions.+ Requires ability to work in an organized and detail-oriented environment.+ Ability to handle multiple responsibilities- self-motivated.+ Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to peers on a day to day basis.+ Willing to work with chemicals and hazardous goods.+ Knowledge of handling temperature sensitive products in cold storage areas.+ Familiarity with clean room environments a plus.+ Ability to lift 60 lbs. and manage multiple responsibilities- self-motivated.+ Ability to operate material handling equipment.+ Valid California Drivers license.+ Familiarity with DOT, IATA regulations a plus.**Physical Demands:***The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires significant physical movement to deliver materials, mail, and move materials. Will need to lift and move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds, operate pallet jacks, forklifts and drive the company truck. Inventory storage areas including walk in cold rooms.**Work Environment:***The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee is required to work in the warehouse, shipping and receiving areas where frequent opening of the door for deliveries occurs. Required to wear gowning in specific areas. Must wear protective gloves, safety glasses and safety shoes.
