**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**Deliver the requested items to the customer or specific designated locations within the warehouse in the requested time frame.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:**Safe operation of the material handling equipment (Forklift, pallet jacks, rolling conveyers, i.e.)Prior to the start of each shift, complete the equipment checklist and notify lead/supervisor of any discrepancies noted. DO NOT OPERATE ANY UNSAFE EQUIPMENT.Verify vendors/receiver labels for complete and correct information prior to removal from receiving area.Move incoming vendor product from receiving dock to assigned warehouse locations.Any product that requires re-labeling will be done in accordance with existing company procedures.Verify pick list/production log to determine items to be pulled from inventory and delivered.Existing material transfer forms will be used to monitor movement of product within the inventory management program.Observe first-in, first-out rotation of raw material inventory.Notify lead/supervisor of scrap and reject product to assure proper documentation and recording.Monitor inventory of stock items and notify lead/supervisor to requisition items as needed to eliminate an out-of-stock condition.Assists with monthly and quarterly inventory counts as necessary.Utilizes good housekeeping practices. Keep handling equipment clean and in a safe operational status at all times.Assist in other departments as required.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**This job has no supervisory responsibilities.**QUALIFICATIONS:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Occasional overtime required.**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**One year certificate from college or technical school; minimum six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to use a tape measure & perform basic arithmetic using fractions & whole numbers.**COMMUNICATION SKILLS:**Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
