We are fully committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees and continuously strive to exceed the expectations of our customers.**Role Overview:**This is a great opportunity to join Texstar as a Material Warehouse Driver. A successful Material Warehouse Driver will travel to other markets for delivery/pick up of materials. In addition, perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, production, and housekeeping tasks.**Responsibilities:*** Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received* Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects* Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment* Stock shelves in the warehouse* Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area* Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements* Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices* Label and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices* Must be able to demonstrate positive and effective verbal and written communications skills* Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. i* Work safely, with or without supervision* Ability to lift 75 -85 pounds* All other duties as assigned**Qualifications:*** Class A drivers license preferred* Basic computer and mathematical skills required* Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time* Must be able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects with variable heights* Travel will be required* Experience within the warehousing/inventory environment preferred* Forklift experience preferred* Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions* Ability to perform the physical tasks required in the position.* Work Standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods* Must be able to fill-out daily production reports, keep track of work hours.* Ability to work in emergencies at night and weekends if needed, including but not limited holidays and extending days.* Ability to work in all weather conditions* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check**Benefits Include:*** Competitive Pay* Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Plans* Flexible Spending Accounts* Retirement Savings Plan (401K) with company matching.* Short & Long Term Disability* Supplemental Life and ADD&D Insurance* Paid Holidays & Vacation (PTO)Applicants are required to pass all company drug testing, submit to a background check and adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by the company as required.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Our Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind including, based on disability and protected veteran status.
