RBR-Technologies is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support one of our customers in Columbia, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Configure and optimize network switches, routers and firewallsConfigure Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)Manage application layer filtering on NextGen FirewallsConfigure and troubleshoot virtual networking, VLANs, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs)Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.Diagnose network connectivity problemsInstall and maintain network infrastructure device operating system softwareMonitor network capacity and performanceMitigate network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside partiesTest and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devicesConfigure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Active TS/SCI with polygraphMaster's degree in STEM AND 10 years' experience, ORBachelor's degree in STEM AND 12 years' experience, ORHigh school diploma and 15 years' experience as a Network EngineerExperience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OSAbility to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)Active Cisco certification
