Sunayu LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer (SME) to provide mission critical system support to our customer. This role will closely work with the development team as well as other technology stakeholders to maintain, develop and support IC enterprise products - legacy and new products - in an Agile SAFe environment. The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. This role will help automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systemManaging, building, configuring, administering, operating and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment.Defining enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practicesCodifying DevOps best practices across the enterpriseDeveloping and maintaining scripts to automate tool deployment to a cloud environment and other tasks.Strong understanding of VMware.Must have strong understanding of Salt StackScripting and maintaining build environments.Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience setting up one or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues with two or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.Demonstrated experience working within a software development team and supporting developers and developer activities.Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph.Candidate must have MS with 15 or more years of prior relevant work experience or PhD with 13 or more years of prior relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in science, technical, or engineering discipline.Demonstrated experience in container orchestration using Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or VMwareDemonstrated experience with Languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Unix shell ScriptingDemonstrated experience with Ansible, or Puppet.
