Job Description:

Summary:

This role entails spearheading the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions within the Workday platform, with a focus on Financials and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. This position requires deep technical expertise in Workday architecture, integration technologies, and reporting tools. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, creating custom integrations and reports, and providing guidance to junior developers.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Hybrid position located in our Elmhurst, IL location 2-3 times per week.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement custom Workday solutions to enhance functionality and address business requirements within the Financials and HCM domainsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and define technical specifications for Workday integrations, reports, and extensionsDevelop and maintain Workday integrations using EIBs, Core & Cloud Connectors, and Workday Studio, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systemsCreate custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into financial and HR performance metrics, leveraging Workday reporting tools and advanced analytics functionalitiesDesign and implement complex business processes, security configurations, and data transformations within the Workday platform to support organizational needsLead system upgrades, patches, and enhancements related to Workday Financials and HCM modules, ensuring compliance with Workday best practices and release management processesProvide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and functional analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices for Workday development and customizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, IT, and other business units, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions that drive business outcomesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, and customizations, working closely with support teams and vendors as neededStay current with Workday releases, updates, and industry trends, continuously identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization within the Workday platformEducation and/or Experience Required (including certifications)

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fieldQualified professional with 4-7 years of experience in Workday development, with expertise in Financials and HCM modulesWorkday certification(s) in Financial Management and Core HCM preferredRequired Skills/Abilities

Strong proficiency in Workday integration technologies, including EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday StudioExperience with Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, Composite Reporting, and Workday Prism AnalyticsHands-on creating Finance integrations using Workday Connectors like CCW, PICOF, PECI, ADP Connectors, Banking connectors, Finance connectors, and CCBsSolid understanding of finance and HR business processes, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectivesAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
