JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Manager HRIS, Analytics & Compliance, this role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organizations HRIS applications and modules, including system enhancements. This individual must demonstrate working knowledge of HR Systems, HR compliance process management, risk management and other recognized human resources competencies as well as a deep understanding of leadership and professional development actions.

With a focus on the Three Blue Bird Foundational Objectives: Take Care of Employees: Delight Customers & Dealers : Deliver Profitable Growth, this role will spend time assessing Blue Bird’s culture, identifying problems in areas such as communication, teamwork, facility hygiene, and recognition, and partner with key leaders to develop and execute strategies to address improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modulesMay provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS usersCollaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutionsManages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS usersPrograms custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reportsCompiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staffServes as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projectsEnsures system compliance with data security and privacy requirementsPerform compliance auditing for review by internal/external auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsMaintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technologyPerform other related duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and technical support skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goalsAbility to keep information confidentialProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareThorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS productEDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE :

Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources or related area of study5+ years of experience with HR SystemsUltiPro experience preferredExperience delivering programs in an industrial manufacturing settingWe VALUE
