You will configure, code, test and debug new and existing applications as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to applied technical understanding and knowledge, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical DayConfigure and build applications ensuring that the solution follows latest practices and industry standards, using modern design patterns and architectural principles; with guidance, actively code and execute against the roadmapDevelop high quality, well documented and efficient code adhering to all applicable Prudential standardsthat stay aligned with platform vendor roadmap and directionDesign the business logic and integration patterns with Prudential Ecosystem, using modern integration, data, and security patternsWrite unit, integration tests and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, developing solutions to address the problemsBring an understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, begin to see opportunities to provide input to the team, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-dayWork on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsUse programming languages including but not limited to Python, Java, or JavaScript and React, Springboot, Node.js frameworksThe Skills & Expertise You BringBachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fieldsLeverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organizationExperience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's businessAbility to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challengesExcellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skillsExperience with the following:o Core Platforms & Languages: FAST (flexible architecture simplified technology)Knowledge/understanding of the following:o Unit, interface and end user testingconcepts and tooling (functional & non-functional)o Knowledge of annunitieso Configuration and administration of core capabilities, data model, integrations, security, access controlFAST configurationSQL, Excel, and XMLSalesforceApex, Lightning Component Development, Java Script, REST/JSON and XML integrationsProcess automation such as Flow, Batch/Async ApexConfiguration and knowledge of the Sales/Service cloud configuration and administration of core capabilities, data model, Integrations, security, access controlPreferred qualifications:o Knowledge of Bitbucket, DevOps automation tools & practiceso Knowledge of agile development methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)o Testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, Seleniumo Be inquisitive and passion to learn new technologieso Financial/Insurance industry knowledge is a plus, not a mustYoull Love Working Here Because You CanJoin a team and culture where your voice matters; where every day, your work transforms our experiences to make lives better.
