Under limited supervision and guidance, performs clerical and manual duties related to the efficient flow of materials into and out of the facility as well as internal distribution. Receives and ships materials and finished goods restock materials in the stockroom, kits, and issues material to manufacturing. Maintain safe practice at all times. This is a fully trained lead position.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Help establish and document material handling procedures;* Understands the implications of work and recommends solutions;* Work closely with manufacturing to provide materials as needed; issue material from the stockroom to manufacturing;* May provide guidance to other non-exempt warehouse employees;* Maintain correct inventory levels in the stockroom;* May determine methods and procedures for new assignments, and adhere to established guidelines;* Prepare reports and conduct inventories in the stockroom;* Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner;* Maintain safe practices at all times;* Use the inventory database and become proficient in the receiving and stockroom related transactions;* Maintain a professional relationship with all vendors and delivery people;* Comply with all company quality assurance methodologies and goals;* Performs other tasks as assigned;* May drive company truck and/or forklift.**Other Duties*** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
