** Material Handler - 1st Shift****Job Category****:** Hickory Springs **Requisition Number****:** MATER005671 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Stage/Load finished Cordaroy's beds for both shifts.* Organize Cordaroy's loads by customer, Amazon, LTL, service, Consumer Direct, etc.* Handle Cordaroy's customer service orders and eventually communicate them to Cordaroy's as well.* Pack out Sam's Club dog beds.* Set up Walmart pickups for Sam's Club pickups.* Unload/separate scrap bales and vendors.* Distribute material to department as needed.* Organize material in stock area in an orderly manner.* Remove empty flats when material has been used.* Move flats as needed.Minimum Requirements* Must be able to communicate effectively.* Must be able to perform simple math.* Must be able to manually move fiber, foam, etc.* Prior material handler experience is preferred.* Must be able to work overtime as needed.* Basic computer skills are preferred.* Foam manufacturing or foam fabrication experience is preferred.* Must be able to operate forklift.* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.* Must be able to read and understand orders and spec sheets.* Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by management.**Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Licenses & Certifications**Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
