Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic, maintain a good attendance record, work well with others as part of a team, and excel in a fast-paced work environment.Essential Functions of a Forklift Operator include:* Using a forklift to load and unload trailers* Move automotive parts from the warehouse to the assembly line* Use RF scanning equipment to verify inventory information* Perform quality checks per company/customer specifications* Ensure product is labeled and free from defect.* Follow all safety and operational guidelines associated with using a forklift* Complete equipment inspection checklist* Accurately complete all paperwork/documentation associated with the position.* Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping or removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.* Perform all other related duties as assigned* Regular and reliable attendance at workThis job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures.
