Resurrection has an opening for a Network Engineer in the Resurrection Experience division! The position is full-time, exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Please see below for a full job description.

Job Summary

The Network Engineer manages networks, Azure, and information security; and provides third-tier desktop support.

Position-Specific

Participate in the design, implementation, and management of data, AV control, video, voice, and IoT networks.Work with the team to specify, evaluate, select, install, configure, and manage network switches, routers, firewalls, anti-malware systems, wireless access points, and the associated wiring infrastructure.Work with telecom carriers to design, specify, install, troubleshoot, and manage telecom services for all Resurrection and Saint Paul locations.Manage Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, network monitoring, and other server-based services and applications.Manage information security including network policies, access controls, permissions, firewall configurations, anti-malware systems, anti-spam and phishing systems.Provide third-tier desktop support to the Technical Support team.Work Schedule: Schedule flexibility and telecommuting permitted with the approval of the IT Infrastructure Team Director. After hours network maintenance as scheduled, with occasional overnight work for major data center or network projects. Work may be required on religious holidays including Christmas and Easter and other holidays that fall on a Saturday or Sunday.Other duties as assigned.Competencies

Required:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification or equivalent knowledge.At least 1 year of current experience with design and management of complex enterprise networks in a multisite environment with multiple routed subnets, including installing, configuring, and supporting network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and the associated wiring infrastructure.Proven Results in:

Managing information security including network policies, access controls, permissions, firewall configurations, anti-malware systems, anti-spam and phishing systems.In-depth technical troubleshooting with the ability to support a wide range of technologies and escalate to outside vendors when necessary to resolve issues.

Willingness to use personal vehicle to travel to worksites in the Kansas City area (mileage will be reimbursed).Preferred:

3 or more years of experience in complex enterprise networks.One or more Microsoft certifications such as Azure Admin, Azure Security, Azure Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, M365 Endpoint Admin.One or more Network Certifications Aruba, Fortinet or Juniper Mist.At least 3 years of current experience installing, configuring, and supporting VMware vSphere hypervisor, Windows Server, server hardware, and iSCSI SANs.
