Job Description:
TTI Power Equipment has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an experienced 2nd shift experienced Class-A CDL Yard Driver. To be considered, candidates must have at least 2 years of professional driving experience. Candidates must also have a clean MVR and be able to pass a background and drug screen. Job DescriptionMust be able to operate manual and automatic transmission-equipped vehicles.Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products.Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.Must be able to climb in and out of the cab of the truck throughout the shift.The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers. Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secureRequirements
High School Diploma PreferredMust have valid Class A CDL.Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
