Windhorse Integrative Mental Health is a semi-residential therapeutic community that uses a mindfulness and relationship-based philosophy in working with individuals experiencing mental health issues such as depression, psychosis, and trauma. Our treatment approach is a holistic alternative to more orthodox mental health treatment modalities. At Windhorse, teams of 4-8 clinicians work together to offer a tremendous amount of support and 1-on-1 time to clients. Clinicians meet with clients for typically 3 hours at a time, perhaps several times per week, partaking in activities that support healing in client homes or out and about in the community such as hiking, sharing a meal, getting coffee, volunteering, taking a class together, etc. Please review our website (www.windhorseimh.org) to learn more about our philosophy and to ensure alignment with the Windhorse approach. Job Description: The Associate Clinical Director is a key leadership position at Windhorse Integrative Mental Health (Windhorse IMH) located in Portland, OR. This position serves as a support and backup when it comes to quality care standards, safety, and welfare of our clients and staff as they relate to clinical work. The Associate Clinical Director supports the Clinical Director in attending to the coherence and integration of clinical-related communication. This position requires 20 hours/week of direct clinical work and 20 hours/week of meetings and supervisory and administrative duties. The Associate Clinical Director is supervised and supported by both the Clinical Director and Executive Director. The leadership culture at Windhorse IMH strives to be more collaborative than hierarchical. Responsibilities

Specific duties include:

Clinical Work: provide approximately 20 hours/week of direct clinical work as a team leader, psychotherapist, and team supervisor (2-4 clients/teams at any one time) Clinical Responsibilities (in support of the Clinical Director):

Engage in ongoing curiosity and learning of our unique Windhorse approach, including the contemplative aspect of the approach, and strive to integrate this into all clinical duties Serve as supervisor for designated senior clinicians; lead some senior clinician supervision groups Provide oversight for clinical records with HIPAA comprehension Monitor and oversee risk-management of clinical situations

Help oversee supervision of the housemates, counselors, and respite counselors (actual supervision may be delegated to other clinical staff); keep apprised of supervision from other supervisors Oversee the integrity and ethics of the clinical work Aid in conflict management between employees as well as clients Recognize areas where internal training of staff is needed and help coordinate/implement Co-facilitate Clinical Meetings for clinical staff Help oversee supervision of Interns (may be delegated to other supervisor(s)) Help support client admissions alongside other Directors Serve in TS (Team Supervisor) role on teams as needed; assist with supporting complex families Serve as backup liaison with contracted Psychiatrist when Clinical Director is away Be on-call during office hours for clinical consultation to teams; share after-hours on-call duties with other Directors Administrative Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations of supervisees Aid in recruiting, onboarding, and training of clinical staff Aid in creation of client teams, team schedules, and shift coverage Attend weekly Director’s meeting, Supervision, monthly Staff Meetings, and Clinical Trainings Help administrative staff develop and implement procedures related to clinical work
