We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Data Architect
with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure to join our client's dynamic team. As a
Data Architect , you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our data architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of our data ecosystem.
Data Architect Responsibilities:
Design and develop data architecture solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks and Azure Analysis ServicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectivesDefine data integration and migration strategies, including data ingestion, data transformation and data synchronization processesDesign and implement data models, data workflows and data pipelines to support business intelligence, data analytics and reporting needsDrive data governance and data quality initiatives to ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of data across multiple systems and platformsIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data availability and scalability issues, proactively optimizing data infrastructure to meet evolving business requirementsStay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture, cloud computing, and data management, evaluating and recommending new technologies and toolsProvide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to data architecture standards and best practicesCollaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize resource utilization, implement backup and disaster recovery strategies and ensure high availability of data platformsProvide support in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective measures
Data Architect Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; advanced degree preferredProven experience working as a Data Architect, Data Engineer or similar roleStrong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks and Azure Analysis ServicesExperience designing and implementing data architecture solutions for large-scale data infrastructures, including data lakes, data warehouses and data martsProficient in writing SQL queries and data manipulation languagesSolid understanding of data modeling concepts, data governance and data quality principlesFamiliarity with data integration patterns and ETL/ELT processesExperience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI or similarStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical data architecture solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
