The Adolescent Male Crisis Stabilization Unit is specially designed for adolescent males ages 12 through 17 with a variety of behavioral challenges and diagnoses. Our team focuses on stabilization so that the adolescent can move back into their home community as quickly as is safely possible.
What to expect.
You will provide
compassionate care to adolescent males ages 12 through17
on an as-needed basis (2-3 days per week) . No evening or weekend hours are required.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Providing
individual and group therapy sessions
using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).Offering
supportive counseling
and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.Collaborating with treatment team members
to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to
