We are working with a Construction services company with offices in multiple states. The client is doing succession planning and is looking for a Chief Financial Officer. In this role, you will report to the CEO and assist in the growth and strategic planning of the company.

Our client is a company that has experienced significant growth in recent years, with further growth planned for the future. In your role as CFO, you will execute and oversee all financial activities and personnel for the company, serve on the Company’s senior leadership team, as well as lead and contribute to always arising special projects. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and financial personnel within the Company, including a team of accountants, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, payroll, and billing specialists Assure a smooth monthly closing process and production of consolidated financial statements and all supporting schedules and reports Prepare, in conjunction with CEO,

monthly

business and financial reporting packages for investors and assure timely and accurate communications with ownership Work with CEO, business development, operations, estimating, and accounting/finance team to prepare annual budgets Manage coordination of accounting/finance, estimating, business development, and purchasing to assure prices, costs, and margins are aligned throughout the organization Assure appropriate execution of all treasury management functions including issuance and control of system permissions and administration of corporate credit card program Lead cross-functional process for maintaining and developing daily, weekly, monthly, and other reporting requested by CEO and/or investors; continuously improve metrics to drive business toward financial goals Work closely with investors on all manner of business improvement initiatives Collaborate with CEO and ownership to assure the overall business strategy is properly capitalized; develop analysis to translate business plan into financial needs Work with Company leadership on all manner of investment decisions related to capital expenditures, operational changes, footprint changes, variable compensation plans, or anything else as it arises Participate in detailed new acquisition due diligence, financing discussions, and post-merger integration activities Supervise human resources function Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Serve as primary relationship manager and lead for all financial/insurance/bank auditors, appraisers, and any other external service providers, including working with

team

to coordinate the production of documents Qualifications: Previous experience in accounting leadership, as CFO, VP of Finance, or other similar position; CPA preferred Previous experience in the construction industry or a related industry Previous management experience with a team of direct reports Fundamental knowledge of GAAP; strong experience with construction (percentage-of-completion) project accounting Strong leadership and change management skills; comfortable with

rapidly

changing environment Self-starter; comfortable with directing one's own work
