SUMMARY

To carry out customary functions associated with material and stock handling in support of the smooth and continuous operation of production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Review job traveler to determine items to be transferred to and from production.Prepare finished goods for shipment with proper identification as directed.Operate forklift to move product as assigned.Label information on boxes or skids as directed.Loads and operates auxiliary equipment as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Strategic planning for the growth and success of McDonald Plastic Molding.

Participate in-group and individual training.Perform all duties in a safe manner while supporting and encouraging the company's safety culture.Determine personal strengths and delegate workload that best fits each individual.Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.Perform all job duties with a positive, collaborative, and encouraging attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
