Marketing Intern Job Description

Position: Marketing Intern

Location: in-office or at-home

Duration: option for Permanent position, after initial three-month trial period


  • Assist in brainstorming social media strategies with H&T Marketing to increase brand visibility
  • Manage social media calendar to build a strong online community
  • Collaborate with H&T Marketing to develop creative content for various platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook)
  • Research industry trends and competitor activities to suggest new marketing opportunities
  • Utilize Canva to design branded forms, infographics, sales sheets, etc.
  • Travel for events as needed


  • Must be a self-starter. Can work under self-leadership once a directive from management has been given.
  • Needs thick skin. Can take criticism and scrutiny in a constructive way.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with graphic design software is a plus

In-depth (SSG Tailored):

  • Manage Label Update/Redesign Project
  • Create and manage promotional calendar for retailers as well as ecommerce sales, campaigns and promotions
  • Manage updates to SSG website – in-depth dive into any and all copy and photo updates
  • Collaborate with team on new product development for new SKUs
