ARSIEM is currently looking for a
Software Reverse Engineer
to reverse engineer large-scale, highly complex software applications. The position will support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver written reports and software tools based on reverse engineer research on highly complex software applications, including static and dynamic analysis, reverse engineering, and kernel debugging.Minimum Qualifications
1+ (CAP1), 6+ (CAP2), or 8+ (CAP3) years of development experience with Assembly, C/C++, or PythonKnowledge of common binary executable formats (PE, ELF, etc.)Experience with CNO development, malware analysis, forensic analysis, and/or Windows/*nix internalsExperience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar binary analysis toolExperience with analyzing user-mode binaries and kernel-mode driversExperience with Wireshark or similar and network protocolsCNO Analyst/Programmer IBachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering OR minimum four (4) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.Minimum one (1) year experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or PythonMinimum one (1) year experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environmentsNote: One year of development experience may be credited for appropriate coursework in Windows or Unix programming, completed as part of an awarded Bachelors's or Master degreeFamiliarity with software version control tools (i.e., Subversion, CVS, etc.)Able to debug software and troubleshoot issuesCNO Analyst/Programmer IIBachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience or eight (8) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineeringMinimum six (6) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or PythonMinimum five (5) years of experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environmentsMinimum two (2) years of experience in network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs, expert-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocolsAble to lead CNO Analyst/Programmers in daily tasksAble to debug software and troubleshoot issuesAble to create and brief technical presentationsCNO Analyst/Programmer IIIBachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience OR minimum ten (10) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineeringMinimum eight (8) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or PythonMinimum seven (7) years of experience developing in one (1) or more of the following:Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environmentsUNIX applications using make files or comparable build environmentsMinimum six (6) years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniquesMinimum five (5) years of experience managing and supervising teams in support of Government CNO capability developmentMinimum five (5) years of experience with programming CNO tools for the US GovernmentMinimum four (4) years of experience programming techniques to evade host and or network-based intrusion detection systemsMinimum four (4) years of experience in network sockets programming developing packet-level programs: expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocolsExpert ability in UNIX kernel internals and low-level Windows internals:OS runtime linker/loaderObject file formats (e.g., PE, COFF, ELF)File system internals (e.g., NTFS, ext2, btrfs)OS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanismsProcess and thread APIs and data structures.
Clearance Requirement : This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
