Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes are in adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates. Job expectations include helping in defining access and ownership of data by domain, conducting quality control, and overseeing data maintenance.This Sr Data Analyst role will be a member of the Regulatory Data team within Enterprise Credit Analytics & Transformation Strategy (ECATS). The Regulatory Data team provides subject matter expertise, manages data capture and sourcing and provides data for critical U.S. and international regulatory reporting for wholesale credit including FR Y-14Q Schedule H, SNC, AnaCredit and HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act).This role will collaborate closely with enterprise credit teams, reporting production teams, data owners, finance/risk reporting teams, and the CFO Group to deploy regulatory reporting solutions, execute initiatives to improve data quality and operational excellence, and provide subject matter expertise on regulatory data requirements.Responsibilities:Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through various testing procedures and data controls which help to identify business insights fit for purpose for a particular product setDevelops and executes on Enterprise Data Management policies and standards, works across teams to ensure adherence, serves as a key point of contact for all topics related to data compliance, and manages operational elements of the (Enterprise Data Strategy Governance and Operations (EDSGO) relationshipManages data related incidents and identifies, communicates, and resolves or escalates issues as needed. Data inquiries include questions related to data issues, availability of data, and potential sourcing alternatives to informDevelops, manages, and executes on controls, ensuring tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches with data platformPartners with Business and Technology functions to drive the development of business and functional requirements documents and ensures strategic upstream resolution for data related incidentsSupports quarterly FRY14Q Schedule H Wholesale Risk data provisioning and submission to Federal Reserve BankReviews and analyzes trends in current population distributions and recommends reporting strategiesSupports comprehensive audits and data quality reviewsCreates and updates user training and guidance documentation resulting from enhancements and/or changes to existing supplemental data capture processesSkills:Data Collection and EntryData ManagementData ModelingIssue ManagementPolicies, Procedures, and Guidelines ManagementAnalytical ThinkingCollaborationData GovernanceData Quality ManagementData and Trend AnalysisBusiness AcumenControls ManagementProduction SupportRegulatory ComplianceSolution DesignRequired Qualifications:MUST have Regulatory Reporting experienceAbility to analyze problems and identify both tactical and strategic solutions to resolveData skills and experience with analysis and reporting tools, including basic SQL and intermediate ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to influence decisions to achieve desired resultsAbility to navigate the enterprise to research and resource information across the bankProven leader within highly-matrixed organizationsExcellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines3-5 years of finance/risk analytics experienceDesired Qualifications:Tableau experienceKnowledge of/experience using ConfluenceShift:1st shift (United States of America)
