What You'll Do:Build scalable test automation processes to maximize creativity, collaboration & efficiencyBuild, manage, maintain, and monitor the automated testing suiteCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and turn them into test plansInterpret and report test results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development processDocument, and track resolutions for software defects identified in the testing process using approved tools and processesAttend standup meetings, test plans, and business requirements walkthroughsLead code reviews as well as drive architecture and technical design discussionsMentor and coach junior engineers, looking for growth opportunities and leading by exampleWhat You Have:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related discipline3+ years of experience in testing web-based or SaaS applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.Experience in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software qualityHighly motivated, resilient, and a tenacious passion for winningStrong hands-on experience with Cypress.io e2e & component testingStrong experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman, or equivalentStrong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions, or equivalent.Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is highly preferredMortgage capital markets experience highly preferredExperience with a SaaS fintech startupWhy Join Polly?
